P lease use the following information as a guide to give you some idea of what your website design costs will be. Just remember, nothing is set in stone and everyone's requirements are different. Don't see something? Ask, I'm here to help.

Design Packages

There are really no clear cookie–cutter "design packages" with cookie–cutter prices because I've always found that every website has different requirements. The costs for each are inherently different, so it's difficult to attach an accurate price to each "design package" without knowing the exact requirements. Contact me with your specific needs and I will provide you with a concise and easy–to–understand proposal for designing your website based on the information you provide.

However, I've found that most of my designs have fallen into the following categories. Please keep in mind that these are very generalized:

The “Basic Biz” Category

The “Basic Biz” Website would typically be one to two pages of information about your business. Think of it as your business card on the World Wide Web, with one exception — your visitors can contact you directly. Depending on your requirements, the cost for the “Basic Biz” Website would start at $250. Standard Inclusions would apply.

The “Silver” Category

The “Silver” Website Category would be a three to five–page custom website design and would be created to represent your business with a very user–friendly interface. A typical five–page custom website can be Home, Services, Location, Contact and About. Go with these suggestions or choose your own page names. Since the “Silver” Website has multiple pages and would be unique to you and your business, you would need to contact me for exact pricing. This Category would be perfect for selling digital products, or an affiliate website where you represent other companies and receive commissions based on sales, or perhaps a website about your hobbies and interests — the ideas are endless. Depending on your requirements and the number of pages, the cost for the “Silver” Website would start at about $400. Standard Inclusions would apply.

The “Gold” Category

The “Gold” Website Category would be a six to ten–page custom website design created to represent your business with a very user–friendly interface. This package includes everything in the “Silver” Category plus up to five more pages where you can include more detailed information. Since the “Gold” Category has many pages, you would need to contact me for exact pricing. Depending on your requirements and the number of pages, the cost would start at about $750. Standard Inclusions would apply.

General Information

About Domain Registration

Don't have a Domain Name yet? You will need to purchase a unique Domain Name for your website. I can refer you to my favorite registrar at DomainsNext.com, but use any registrar you want.

The written content is supplied by you. Please note: My services do not include writing your text for you. However, I do offer Copywriting Services for additonal costs.

Copywriting & Copy Editing Services

As a Web Designer, I know what readers are looking for—how they seek the information they need—and Copywriting can be a major factor. You can rest assured that your entire site will be created by an expert in the field.

Read about The Total Package. Copywriting is the actual writing of original text for your web page(s) and will be quoted on a case–by–case basis. Because every website is different, the requirements will be different. Please let me know your intentions when filling out the Web Design Form.

If you require some help in Copy Editing of your original content, I usually include it depending on the amount that needs rework. Copy Editing is the re–writing of your original text to include SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Custom Graphics & Logo Design

Your website will include a custom–designed graphic header incorporating your company logo, if you have one. If you don't have a logo, why not get a unique website logo designed specifically for your website? Look professional and have that competitive edge!

I normally charge $50 for a logo design, however, if I design your website you can look forward to a 50% discount for a logo design.

For a showcase of photos, a thumbnail photo loads a larger image for better viewing just by hovering the mouse over the smaller picture. This is accomplished with CSS and HTML only. I will need to create the "thumb" photo plus the "enlarged" photo from your original image.

Maintenance & Updates

Free minor updates for three (3) weeks after completion of your website and "Hand–Over" has been made. There may be times when you need me to make a few small changes that you may have overlooked or forgotten. I understand this and expect a few changes here and there.
If you feel you require additional help beyond the 3–week period, and you'd like to call me, I do request that you send me an email and state what it is you require and when you'd like to speak to me so that I can make myself available and have the information on–hand.
Your website may need to be updated on a regular basis to be attractive to both your customers and the search engines. Believe it or not, search engine algorithms calculate the relevance of your website based on the frequency the content changes as well as many other factors. You can hire me on a monthly basis. This would entail any changing, revising and editing text. It does not include any major design changes or graphic work. This is "maintenance" and it's for keeping your website up–to–date with new information that you provide.
Don't require ongoing maintenance? Not a problem, you can hire me on an hourly basis with a one hour minimum and billed in half–hour increments thereafter when you have some changes to make. Any major re–designs will be considered depending on time involved.

Provide me with the raw material (text), and I will create a PDF (Portable Document File) Ebook that will be second to none and also something you can be proud.

Feedback Forms

Feedback Forms are forms that are filled out by someone while visiting your website and the information is sent to you via email. Approximately $50 to set up, depending on the length of the form. This price would be charged if it were an additional request.

If a Feedback Form was part of your original requirements, then it would've been included with the price you were quoted.
